Ett mycket trevligt och bra boende i traditionell toscansk stil. Vi var en familj med vuxna barn och var och en kunde ha sitt eget krypin.
Stora gemensamhets utrymmen ute och inne. Terrassen ute under tak var där vi höll till hela tiden med en fantastisk utsikt och skugga från den varma solen.
Med Seranas hjälp kunde vi boka en en kock som lagade en fantastisk fest måltid för 8 personer.
Ett boende vi verkligen kan rekommendera till de som vill bo privat och genuint i Toscana bort från turiststråken men ändå nära till allt med bil.

Beautiful old house in a stunning location. Lots of space for families or large groups. The view from the outside dining terrace is stunning and one I will never forget. The village centre is a short walk up the hill where there are some lovely restaurants. Excellent location for visiting San Gimignano and Volterra. Certaldo station is only 15 minutes away for the train to Sienna or Florence.

3 bedrooms had built in air conditioning and one had a portable unit. The bedroom with the portable unit also had a glass door so would benefit from a curtain for some privacy.

We all enjoyed the private pool although the sunbeds were a bit tired and an extra umbrella would have been nice.

Serena is an excellent hostess. She was quick to rectify any problems we had including a power outage caused by a big storm. She also recommended a private chef Sara to come and prepare a special birthday meal for us which was excellent.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Serena's house.
