Ilya's place is very beautiful and very well furnished. The house was very clean and spacious. Its just a stone throw away from the beach. The shared swimming pool is absolutely ideal. our kids loved it very much. Ilya is very responsive as a host and was always helpful with all the questions we had. Margaret the house manager was wonderful and gave us many insightful tips on how to get around in Galu. She made our stay feel like home away from home. She is also great with kids of all ages. Thank you Margaret for your hospitality. We also had a very good chef Barasa who spoiled us every day with delicious meals. He made the best currys and Seafood as well. My family had a wonderful time at Tulua. We will definitely come back again.

Ilya was a great host. The house was beautiful in the old Swahili style which adds to its charm. All the amenities were working well.
We especially loved Margaret, and she would be a big reason for us to come back again. She was so friendly and helpful with the children. Any questions we had Ilya answered, and Margaret was on hand to aid with absolutely anything.
Definitely coming back.

My family and I stayed at Tulua House for nine days recently. Located on the beautiful Galu beach, the house offered enough accommodation for our large group. The beach was lovely, and the house is in walking distance of some of our favourite places [including the Salty Squid and Mvureni beach bar]. Margaret, the housekeeper, was super friendly and looked after us very well. We hired Barasa as a chef; the food was fabulous. Lazy days on the beach and beside the pool were enjoyed by all. Overall, a great experience in a wonderful place.

This home is absolutely lovely. Simply and tastefully decorated, comfortable beds, great family space, location couldn’t be any better. Margaret, the house manager, is delightful and we arranged an excellent cook one night for a seafood feast. You won’t be disappointed in this place for a family vacation in Galu!
