Andy and Parks were great hosts! They are welcoming, friendly, interesting and helpful.
I had a sudden change in travel plans and I was lucky to find this place. I had never been to Sandbridge and Andy’s location is perfect. The guest cottage was cute, clean and comfortable. Everything I needed for the beach and beyond was thoughtfully provided, including a great sunset and a hammock. I will definitely return!

This place and these hosts are fantastic. It felt like old school Airbnb, where the hosts actually live there, know the area, and extend a warm and hospitable welcome. And don’t worry, they do it without disrupting your peace and privacy. It’s as if Andy magically anticipates what you’ll need to enjoy a stay in Sandbridge — easy access to the beach, bikes for cruising to the wildlife refuge, coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night, and more, plus a bunch of minor touches to make things easy. The place was clean, cool, comfy, felt lovingly maintained and not at all pretentious. The next time I visit Sandbridge, I will definitely try to book Andy’s place first, and hope it’s available.

Andy & Park's private guest suite is clean & comfy, provides a great kitchenette, clean bathroom, comfortable bed, and a lovely living room space with a smart TV. Back sliding door leads to a private covered deck overlooking the Bay.

If the space wasn't already great enough, the location is PERFECT. It was a less than 5 minute direct walk to the beach via the sand path. Back Bay National Wildlife Refuge is a fun bike ride or 5 minute drive away (hike/bike!). Bay canoeing right on site! Coffee, restaurants, shops all very close - walk, bike, drive. VA beach, 20 minute drive.

The amenities: Beach chairs, beach cart, 2 bikes (helmets, lock), canoe, fire pit.

Andy & Parks were some of the friendliest, most thoughtful and communicative hosts I have ever stayed with. They maintained our privacy, and were lovely to chat with in passing. They were extremely accommodating and flexible with check in/out.

Absolute gem! Hope to return!

Andy’s place was great for a weekend trip. Quick and easy walk to the beach, private entrance from the main house, and she did a great job of supplying anything we could’ve thought of (beach towels, chairs, cooler, bikes, wine, snacks, local recommendations, etc.). We had a very peaceful and relaxing stay!
