This was the favorite for everyone in our group while in Chania. The small group tour is perfect because you can hear and see everything. You will learn things you did not know; and you’ll start noticing more about the architecture and history of this area which is fun! I recommend doing this early in your vacation because you will want to try the recommendations! Iosef had a great sense of humor; and his knowledge is professor level; your best professors. The pace is relaxing and you can take photos along the way. There may be some cool surprises; and I don’t want to spoil it for you! Just do it!

Wow! One of the best tours taken! Amazing guide, Iosif. You will learn history of Chania, Crete and Greece while walking through special and somewhat hidden parts of the city. This is a must do while in Crete!

Wow this was such an amazing experience! It was an immersive historical and local experience which is so unique. You can feel how the locals have been influenced by history and literally see it in the structures. During our tour a local invited us into their home where they showed us Venetian and ottoman influences and a familial perspective of how WWII changed the culture here. It was such a special, unique experience that pieced together parts of history I would’ve otherwise never connected. This tour is a must.
