The home met our needs and was a good base for exploring. The log burner was a plus. It was at the far end of the Catlins and was quiet and peaceful.

This house is fine and comfortable if you're wanting three bedrooms and plenty of space and don't mind that the outside is pretty neglected and inside is a bit of a hotch-potch of styles and furnishings. Unfortunately we had an infestation of flies and didn't have anything like spray to get rid of them. In the end we had to shut one bedroom off after the first night

The house was spacious, clean and well equipped.
Unfortunately the outside of the house and the once beautiful garden are very neglected.
