Graham is a lovely host with a wealth of knowledge, experience and stories to share that brings the tools and craft of woodworking to life in real and inspiring ways. As people with little to no hands on experience, it was really fun to try some of the tools out and get to fully appreciate the care and effort that goes into handmade. We were hoping to have actually gotten to make something small or at least attempted too, so it's worth clarifying your expectations upfront to ensure Graham is able to appropriately structure the session. As we unfortunately ran out of time to get into any actual making activities.

What a tremendous experience! Graham is an excellent teacher, a master of his craft. He welcomed us, unskilled as we are, and brought us through a series of steps so that we could enjoy learning important woodworking skills. My wife and I were renewed and refreshed by reconnecting with a beautiful craft. We highly recommend this experience.

Graham is absolutely wonderful. He is brilliant with wood but so many other topics! He is warm, kind, welcoming, patient, funny, and easy going. I learned so much from my time with him and can’t wait to go back and learn more! I think this is the most charming and interesting activity in town, 110% recommend!
