Very great!

This was by far the worst walking tour we have been on. The reviews looked good but the name of our guide didn’t match the host name on Airbnb so I’m guessing it’s a group of guides working this tour and we just got unlucky. We met at crowded, hot and narrow cafe where we stood for 10 minutes waiting for them to acknowledge the guide as people squeezed past us constantly. We finally asked the guide if we could wait outside and sit down while he ordered for us. The guide barely said anything while we ate so we talked to the other couple. Between food stops he mostly just walked in silence. We stopped twice for facts about 2 buildings. He would just stop in the middle of the street in the full sun instead of the ample shade out of the way of foot traffic. The first 2 food stops were mediocre and by the 3rd one we were too full. I actually tried prompting him to tell me facts but it was like pulling teeth. The only fun part was joking with the other couple about how bad it was.

We had a wonderful time with Gianmarco and enjoyed all of the delicious ciccette and recommended wine pairings in Venice! It was just the perfect amount of light history, walking and exploring, and bites for our first evening in the city. Recommend as a nice way to begin your trip!

We had a great tour with Gianmarco in Venice! He told us some interesting history of Venice as we walked from location to location, which was such an added bonus! The food and drinks at each stop were fantastic and the tour really helped us see more of the city. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting Venice!
