I’m passionate about sharing the charm of old houses and their neighborhoods in Sumida, Tokyo, and Mikuni, Fukui. Nothing makes me happier than seeing guests leave with contented smiles. Though neither place is where I’m from, life drew me to both. In embracing their quiet beauty, I’ve felt truly welcomed—and that welcome led me to wonderful guests who’ve quietly enriched my inner life. What began as hosting others has become a journey inward.
