We met Alejandro and had a great and interesting walk / conversation about Borges, one of the most influential writers of Argentina. We read a poem together and Alejandro explained the nuances of how Borges accepted his blindness as a gift and continued to write during his latter years. Alejandro is deeply passionate about Borges and his explanations and comments regarding Borges's work and life was very informative and interesting. We also walked along the area of San Telmo where we discussed the concept of infinity and ended our tour at a park in the area. Alejandro was very knowledgable, sharing his experiences and understanding of the life of this great author and poet of Argentina. I am so eager to buy his books and read some of his short stories and recommend this tour highly.
