Monika was lovely and knowledgeable! I love how small the group is. I love the timing of each places we move around because it goes against the traffic of the big tour group. The break in between in a little cafe also was nice! 😊

I had a bit of an unusual experience because I was the only one on this tour, but Monica was great and I learned SO much about Budapest. She made an accomodation for me to stop in at a bookstore so I could pick up a couple of books that she and my last guide had recommended. She showed me how to take the metro as we went to see Heroes Square, a beautiful park with a spa, and the Opera House. We also saw a lovely little folk art museum, that I would never have found on my own and a funny day to day living under Communism museum showing the cars they drove, the sodas and candy she had a a kid. Really interesting. She also helped me out with a dinner recommendation for Hungarian rational food that I could get a take away. it was delicious.

This tour gives you a basic overview of Hungarian history, then backs it up with spectacular architecture and views of the city and there even coffee.

Wonderful tour. A highlight of our trip.
