I have been working at Araksa Tea Garden for over a decade as a tea artist and workshop conductor. Tea culture often involves mindfulness, ritual, and connection, and I feel there is a poetic rhythm to the way I move through life. I’m passionate about sharing and inspiring others through the story of Thai tea. I also love to travel and explore new things, learning from different cultures, cuisines, people, and perspectives.

Until this wonderful experience, I never knew that Thailand had tea farms and tea gardens! After the experience, I want to go to Chiang Mai to see the Araksa tea garden and harvest my own tea! As an Airbnb employee, I get to try new experiences and this one opened my eyes to the incredible diversity of flavors across different teas and our Host Chalermkhwan was generous in sharing her passion for tea with us!

After tasting many delightful and interesting teas, brewed to meticulous perfection in timing and water temperature, my favorite part of the experience was blending my own tea! I used the gorgeous butterfly pea flowers to craft a tea to make my tastebuds sing while reflecting the extraordinary beauty of Thailand's stunning lagoons! Thank you very much, Chalermkhwan and team!

Tea mixing was so much fun! I had never done this before, and it was really enjoyable to taste all the different types of tea.

At the end, we blended our own unique mix. I chose toasted rice, bamboo, and green tea, and drinking it felt like taking a morning hike in the misty mountains.

As an Airbnb employee who has joined quite a few Experiences, this was my first time tea blending, and it was such a great time. I highly recommend it!
