Oleg is a great host, very friendly with lots of great tips about the area and the city in general. The place is simple but clean and very spacious.

I enjoyed the neighborhood, it’s a mix of Polish/Slavic and Hispanic, with tons of great food options and a commercial strip. There are also some trendy cafes nearby.

Public transit is also super convenient, with the M train (which I think is one of the better lines in NYC in terms of reliability) mere minutes away.

Overall, a great stay and experience!

Olegs place is located close to bushwick, literally a 10 min (moderate) walk away from the M line and located midst in a polish district with awesome food wort trying (plus pretty good coffee! if you wanna have a bit more of a cozy breakfast, check out Norma's corner close by). The flat is clean, comfortable and has some funky light in the kitchen, which makes a perfect atmosphere for chilling out a bit after a busy day in manhatten. You can use the things in the kitchen, so get some instant coffee! Beds (both), blankets and pillows are pretty comfortable and ask Oleg for tips around in the area, he knows best, I really do very recommend staying there!

house is cool. location was very great. it's just 30 minutes to go times square with a m train. Oleg was friendly and house was very clean
