Rated only 2 star experience, as 3 stars were that the experience “met” expectations. Higher ratings would be that experience warranted “exceeding” expectations which this did not. First, myself and others in the group were pressured to cancel our reservation and book directly with his website. Being in a foreign country and paying the $115 price person cost made everyone feel very uncomfortable. I did not book on website because I felt more supported via Airbnb and Martin’s written response reflected his disappointment. Now, I better understand the limited Airbnb & Viator reviews for this experience because they are primarily focused on making money and protected from reviews on their website. Our host, Michael, was not attentive to our group and stayed focus on the quick tempo as his main goal throughout the day. Time for pictures was hardly offered and to boot the pictures that he took of our group have still not been delivered and it’s been 24 hours since the experience and still no response. Our group built a community amongst ourselves in sharing travel stories and tips. Michael offered only his personal stories of himself and his ski instructor career and did not engage with our group beyond that. Michael offered relatively nothing about history or interesting stories about our journey or anything. Two of the other groups booked via the website which apparently is a shorter experience that ends at the castle and does not include the microbrewery. BUYER BEWARE! Since I was the only one who booked the Airbnb microbrewery experience, the group was offered to join and continue for the rest of the day. It was an awkward transition for the group; otherwise, how would we all get back to starting point without going together?! Michael continued to push the group making adjustments for “short cuts” when these were more imposing and strenuous. Overall, the experience is quite tasking. We booked because it offered a view of nature outside of the city which was wonderful and the eBikes were in great working condition—that gave this experience 2 stars.

It was a great time with a thoughtful and expert guide. it was a great experience all around. Such a fun day!
