I had the pleasure to get a private tour with Kozo. We also had the perfect weather and Kozo explains lot of the history and we went quite around the peace memorial park. Also went outside to the castle and a nice shrine.
He also teaches me how to cook okonomiyaki, which was very tasty in the end.

Kozo’s unique cycling and Okonomyaki tour was the highlight of our 3 weeks in Japan. He was patient, well educated in the historic sights and answered all of our questions. We were led through beautiful parks, alleys, and river paths. He ensured we had time to pause and reflect. The pancake demonstration was really fun and just delicious. Kozo did a truly fantastic job curating the perfect afternoon experience in Hiroshima. Every detail was well thought out and I am so impressed how many elements he included in this short and very affordable adventure - including the history of Hiroshima, it’s people and the somber history of the atomic bomb, exercise (walking and biking), culture (visiting shrines and temples and castle), pointing out hot spots for food and shopping and giving recommendations, thoughtful snacks and tea along the route and then making a communal and delicious Hiroshima-inspired meal (Okonomiyaki) together in his home. It was perfect way the spend an afternoon and I’m so grateful to Kozo for the experience. 10/10. Recommend without reservation or hesitation!

Kozo provided us with a last minute private tour on my birthday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We had a bit of a tight schedule, and he did an amazing job customizing our itinerary! The bike tour took us to places we wouldn’t have seen on our own. We really liked seeing the local temple, and the school atomic bomb museum was also very moving. We finished it off by cooking okonomiyaki Hiroshima style at Kozo’s condo. That was the highlight of the day! The meal was delicious and we learned how to cook a new dish! Thank you for everything!
