This was our third stay at Marie’s beautiful penthouse — and it never disappoints! 🌴
The view was amazing! We had breakfast on the balcony every morning while watching the cruise ships sail into the harbor ⛵️☕️. Marie was very responsive! The Wi-Fi worked perfectly — I even managed to get a little work done each day 💻.
This place felt like heaven. ✨ From the moment you open the door — the views take your breath away 😍.
The apartment was spotless, cozy, and well-stocked with basics like coffee and essentials. I took a quick taxi to Progressive supermarket to stock up for the week 🛒. The balcony is spacious, and the king bed was super comfortable — we slept so well 💤.
Ocho Rios Beach and Margaritaville are just a 5-minute walk away, and we stopped for ice cream at Island Village every day after the beach 🍦🌞.
For our return, we took the Knutsford Express back to the airport — easy and affordable
We love Marie’s place so much that we’ve already planned our fourth trip!

Awesome! As a Jamaican traveler for the past 20 years. This place was spot on! Walkable and easy access if a taxi is needed. We have a driver that have used the past 3 years that was handed to us by our driver of 10 years if you need a recommendation. The Balcony is enough to make you never want to leave. It was old workd charm but clean. This is nothing but a great location! I’m sad the pandemic closed our hotel but this was a nice replacement! I will book again next visit ❤️

Marie truly is a super host. She was very responsive and accommodating, especially after Delta canceled our flight less than 12 hours before departure and they couldn't get us out for 3 days. The apartment is clean and homey with breathtaking views. The complex is nice and feels safe. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance. The only thing I wish we would've known is that grocery stores (at least the big one down the road) don't have plastic bags so you either need to bring your own reusable bags or purchase them.

We had a lovely stay at Marie's place (two couples). Ample space and great layout with each room having an en-suite bathroom. It's obvious that great care was taken in furnishing the spaces and selecting tasteful colour schemes/themes for each room. This is a typical Caribbean-style home with absolutely gorgeous views of the bay, pier and beach. You can walk into town but it's a moderately steep hill. Check-in was easy, parking is right across the apartment. The place is private and quiet (apart from occasional nearby music which is normal here and which we didn't mind). We really enjoyed hanging out on the very spacious balcony - has a dining table, reclining chairs and spans the whole length of the apartment. Kitchen is well stocked which meant cooking for ourselves was easy. Our tip for avoiding the big crowds in Ochi is go to the beach/Dunn's River Falls etc. as close to opening time as possible and check the cruise ship schedule! For food - we recommend Ocho Rios Jerk Centre!
