Decent stay, bed way too soft for my personal taste, but that’s me. House has a lot of frequent noises, baseboard heat units (I think) and often strange noises that sounded like someone was trying to get in. House was safe, but a bit unsettling every time that happened. All in all a fair value though.

Good place to stay with a large group

We spent a lovely few nights at this place when we came for Celtic Colours. The living room was quite comfortable and the bedrooms fairly dark. The shower is great: plenty of hot water and good pressure. The setting is beautiful: quiet, friendly people walking by, a short drive away from downtown. Jeff's recommendation for Colette's Diner was also appreciated; few places were open on Thanksgiving Day, and Colette's is not fancy but very good.

The wifi was not speedy but was serviceable. The bedrooms are upstairs on the same floor as the bathroom; that's a nice thing in the middle of the night. Living room and kitchen on the main floor.
