2025. áprilisI can truly recommend the city tour with Madeleine. I was looking for a cultural experience which could be interesting for 2 teenagers girls. Madeleine knows a lot about the city and art, provides many recommendations. She makes everyone feel confident working on their sketches, no matter whether you are an arty person or not. Only thing that can be improved is the weather (it was raining this day), but that is not in Madeleines control 😉 She still found places and ideas that were dry.

2025. márciusWe loved our tour with Madeleine! We are both beginners and she was very encouraging with her sketching techniques and compliments. We also appreciated that the supplies were provided and there were places to sit along the way. The three hours flew by.
Great experience for something unique and local in Aix. Highly recommend!

2025. márciusMadeleine’s tour was excellent. We already knew Aix really well, but the history and anecdotes Madeleine shared were so interesting! It really deepened our knowledge of the city. We also loved the sketching! We have zero artistic abilities, but our drawings turned out surprisingly well. We did the tour with our two kids and it was a great family activity. Highly recommend Madeleine’s tour!

2025. januárA superb teacher, artist & Art historian. She brought both local & art history to life with travel sketching! Like me, she remains convinced art is a journey worth pursuing! Art like this has true depth of value over time. As a fellow professional artist, I joined Madeleine's class to learn more about travel sketching & life of Van Gogh. As a Bermudian who has traveled thousands of miles to be here...this lesson in & of itself would be well worth it. From holding my pencil differently, speed drawing with more sustained sketches later on in the lesson helped me to free up my art style. I felt I have made a wonderful new artist/ friend who is a gift to Arles & all her fortunate students. Whilst being encouraging she remains very focused on empowering her students to take risks & 'feel' the lines. Fantastic!!! 100/100.
