I would rate this experience, a 20 out of 10. Ruth is kind, friendly, and welcoming she brings forth such a beautiful foundation of knowledge regarding the world of Chocolate and it takes you on an adventure, causing all of your census to absolutely explode. We made multiple things with Chocolate, laughed and created memories that I pray I never forget. I highly recommend this experience with Ruth. From making chocolate in its purist form to learning all of the variations of Chocolate, their origins, and the differences and taste there was never a dull moment. There is so much more I can say, but more than anything I want to thank her for welcoming me with open arms and making my first experience in Ecuador one that will last a lifetime.

This was one of the highlights of my trip, my wife loves chocolate so I surprised her with this event, Ruth’s hospitality was superb, we got to meet her mom who was even more amazing, just a down to earth experience. Making chocolate from scratch and using ingredients found at her garden was just magical! Muchas Gracias Ruth!

Ruth was amazing! She was a great host and very knowledgeable. The chocolate was very delicious and fun to make. I would highly suggest this tour when visiting Quito!!

I had the most amazing time with Monika! Her whole family was so welcoming, and she was very knowledgeable about the history of chocolate and Ecuador and the local farms that give fair trade chocolate to the rest of the world.
We got to roast the beans and learn so many other unique ways to make chocolate. I won’t give it away here, but not only do we make chocolate, we have a lovely food spread, and the entire process is super fun.
The chocolate was delicious and I enjoyed every minute of it.
I would definitely do this again and bring a bunch of folks with me next time.
