hot weather windows open forget about sleeping train noise all night

Host very abrupt and quite rude down the phone when told of problems

Glasses and things in cupboard filthy needed washing before use

The only good thing was proximity to town….. but if you are staying expecting to sleep please book elsewhere

Zahir was extremely rude in all his messages and communication. I informed him that we will be reaching Preston late (midnight) as we were driving down from far but he started attacking us right away claiming that the housekeepers don't get paid to lose sleep over us. I apologized and told him I thought it was a self check in and that we cant change our travel plans but he continued to be really rude. when we checked in close to midnight (he stopped responding right when I told him we reached, the front guy let us in), he started yelling at us at the intercom at night to give the guy another 20 pounds. the front guy was very cordial and professional and did not share the complaints that Zahir did. the apartment and location was nice but zahir was extremely impolite, arrogant, and not an understanding host. would avoid if can.

We only stayed one night and it was fine. Clean, comfortable. We kept windows open because of the heat and actually liked hearing the trains - it was a nice sound!
