My two daughters and I had a BLAST doing pottery with Lorenzo and his amazing asst.
Super cool to be in a home in SMA....really an art studio....with pumping tunes and tons of creativity. We had a wonderful time painting our pieces and were given just enough 'tips' to succeed but not too much to not make it ours. It was a great way to sit/chill/focus after a ton of touring, eating and walking SMA (which is also amazing).

If you're looking for a fun way to relax and create, highly suggest this outing.

My husband, teenage daughter and I had a beautiful time at Lorenzo's studio. He and his associate were delightful, warm and friendly, and made us feel incredibly welcome. The studio is in a lovely house and we worked in the center courtyard under colorful umbrellas and music playing in the background. We were given materials and a quick tutorial and then pretty much left to our own devices - which we absolutely loved. It was soothing, quiet, concentrated time of creating and making beautiful art - what a joy! This is my second time with this experience (the first was for a work retreat with colleagues), and I would love to do it again next time we are in SMdA.

So fun to sit in an artist’s studio and painting for three hours. It was relaxing and fun. We brought a bottle of wine to enjoy while we painted. I highly recommend! My friend and I are not crafty but we so enjoyed this experience.

You can’t help but feel inspired with the amazing vibe in Lorenzo’s gorgeous home/studio space. Very nurturing and comfortable atmosphere to explore a new art form. We had so much fun the time flew by!
