In those first 32 days, since I arrived in Montreal, I stayed in this room, and for me it was very good! Alex is a great person, the apartment is always very clean and the rooms are very quiet. The building is right in downtown, so you don't even have to take a bus or subway to go anywhere.
If the room were cheaper I would certainly stay longer.

Nesses primeiros 32 dias, desde que eu cheguei em Montreal, eu fiquei nesse quarto, e pra mim foi muito bom! Alex é uma ótima pessoa, o apartamento sempre está bem limpo e os quartos são bem silenciosos. O prédio fica bem no centro da cidade, então você nem precisa pegar ônibus ou metrô para ir a algum lugar.
Se o quarto fosse mais barato eu certamente ficaria mais tempo.

Alex' airbnb is centrally located and everything one needs is close by. I stayed at his place a little bit more than 3 months and I would describe my stay at his place as "okay". It was not terrible but at the same time not great either. The description of the living together is not exactly what you can expect. Alex is very helpful with recommendations for Montréal. But the living room is always occupied by him because he is working from home so I did not feel comfortable relaxing there. At the same time (as he is always there), I felt watched coming home/leaving the appartment because from where he works he can see the people coming in and out. Also, the temperature especially in the bathroom was very low. Cold air was coming through the wall in the bathroom and for a week it was very cold (between 6°C-12°C). Even after he fixed it the temperature was set at 14°C which I think is still to cold for a bathroom. I could set the temperature for my own room which was a good thing. The place was mostly clean and there is enough space for your personal stuff. The room is expensive considering the fact the he also wanted me and the other roommate to buy our own toilet paper (sharing the costs was not an option).
I can recommend his place for short term stays but not if you stay long term in Montréal and prefer social interaction and warm rooms during the cold Canadian winter.
