The ten acres where my converted school buses and yurts reside is on a mesa a few short miles from the artist village of Madrid, New Mexico. The place was peaceful. The view was breathtaking.
Getting to the place was quite an ordeal because of the road conditions. I would not attempt it without a 4 Wheel Dr. If you go take your own utensils for cooking, and your own coffee maker. The outdoor kitchen was not maintained well. You may also want to take your own water as the water there makes the worst tasting coffee. The description states that the roads are not maintained and to plan accordingly. It’s a way of saying, without saying it, to bring a four wheel Dr. vehicle. The wood-burning stove was nice, but I had to get up twice in the middle of the night to add wood. Staying here in the winter is a lot of work.
If you take a puppy, reqire linens, and firewood, your cost per night jumps up to $70-$75.
I had planned three nights but left after one. No attempt at a partial refund was made.
