We had a wonderful experience visiting this lovely lady’s home for a Turkish cooking class. Her house was incredibly warm, cozy, and welcoming — it felt like visiting family. She was extremely kind, patient, and full of knowledge about Turkish cuisine and culture. The food we prepared together was absolutely delicious, and we learned so much throughout the experience. It was truly one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommended to anyone looking for an authentic and heartwarming experience in Antalya !

This was an amazing experience! I highly recommend it to everyone who loves Turkish food and good company. Banu is a great cook and teacher. She’s also a kind-hearted and hospitable host. Just wow. 😍 I'm not sure what I expected of a private lesson in traditional Turkish cuisine – but what I got was way beyond expectations: The experience started with a tour of the garden where we picked herbs for our dinner. I was then welcomed with tea, cheese, olives (homegrown!) and delicious sourdough bread (homemade!). Then we set to work on MANTI (Turkish ravioli), MUHAMMARA dip and PILAF with chickpeas and chicken. Even my inexperienced fingers managed to halfway get the hang of that ravioli thing (and it was beautiful to watch the grace and efficiency with wich Banu did her share). What an exceptional dinner we had. All the while sharing traditions, favourite foods and travel stories from all over the world. It felt like visiting a friend I just hadn't known before. And did I mention that I got to take leftovers? And picked up and brought back to my hotel?!
