Starting the first morning and continuing on and off for several days there was terribly noisy work on the roof making the apartment uninhabitable during the day. Requests for clarification only brought erroneous information allegedly from the landlord. As the landlord would have informed Blueground in advance, we should have been warned so other arrangements could be made. Requests from Blueground for some compensation or alternative for an apartment we could not use have still not been answered.

The building itself was great and the staff at 1407 on Michigan were wonderful and helpful. However, I will never stay at a Blueground property ever again. We only booked this location that didn't have reviews after the original place we booked on Airbnb turned out to be a scam a day before our 2 month stay. The stay was fine other very spotty wifi for a couple that works from home. We sent in maintenance requests a few times with slow response. Once we finally heard back they just gave us the wifi login for the unit next door since it wasn't occupied. Overtime that signal started to fade as well. Then a few days after checkout we're told we owe $675 for an almost decade old tv (I bought the same tv at home in 2017 for less than that) that was fading when we arrived. Since a inventory checklist wasn't provided to report it we just dealt with it throughout our stay. Now we're being unfairly charged for natural tv wear and tear we didn't cause because there was nowhere to report this.
