An unforgettable mosaic experience!

We had the most incredible time at this mosaic class—truly one of the highlights of our trip. The women who run it are absolute gems: so kind, warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about their craft. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel welcome and at ease, offering delicious snacks and weaving in fascinating bits of art history as we worked.

They were beyond patient and encouraging, guiding us step by step and making sure we felt confident (even when we took way longer than expected!). At no point did they make us feel rushed—one of the ladies even missed an appointment to stay late just so we could finish. That kind of care and generosity is so rare.

We left not only with beautiful mosaics we’re proud of, but with full hearts and an even deeper appreciation for the art form. I truly can’t say enough kind things about them. If you’re in Rome, do not miss this experience. It’s something really special.

We had a great time hearing more history of mosaic and working on our own. It gave us a great appreciation for the mosaic we see all over Italy and left with four different versions for our efforts. We all really enjoyed the experience- from our 7 year old (who’s got a lot of help) to our teenager!
