Françoise’s cooking class was fantastic! She teaches you how to make five fundamental French sauces, focusing on simplicity, efficiency, and precision — all you need is a pot and a spoon.

It’s a wonderful class for anyone wanting to learn authentic French sauce techniques for use at home. I’ll never use a double boiler for Béarnaise or Hollandaise again.

Francoise is a very personable &knowledgeable chef who is a natural teacher. I knew how to make some of the sauces already but her tips and tricks really made it worth taking the class. The space and her fun personality made it a wonderful morning. I would highly recommend her as a teacher.

Francoise is absolutely charming and welcoming. She does a wonderful job pulling everyone in to be a part of the class. We enjoyed very much the sauces as well as how she incorporated some fun facts about regional cooking ( south of France). She gave us great recommendations for where to find culinary necessities,butter, spices etc ; which is absolutely priceless information in Paris.

I loved this cooking class! It was very special to meet in the host’s lovely apartment. She was extremely knowledgeable and I appreciated her explanations of the science behind each recipe. All 5 sauces were practical, not too difficult to learn and delicious. At the end of the lesson, we dined on a small meal that contained each sauce. Highly recommend!
