We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! Rut and her husband were incredibly kind, warm, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The accommodation was clean, well-equipped, and felt like a true home away from home. Every detail was thought of to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The hosts went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing experience, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a perfect and quiet getaway.

We stayed five days with Rut and her husband and we really had an amazing time. The place was perfect for us good bus connections to Reykjavík downtown, it was quite at night and very beautiful at day. Would always love to come back to stay for some more time.
The place wa like described we had a kettle for hot water, a small fridge, a microwave and some kitchen utensils. Perfect for people who are around the city a lot and for those who don't want to cook big meals.
We had a very pleasant time at Ruts home and they made us feel very welcome and comfortable.

Ruths Summerhouse is the perfect place to explore sout-east of Iceland. Surounded by Icelands beautiful nature you are close to all attractions of the Golden Circle, but still at a very private place.

The Summerhouse brings everything you need for your stay and Ruth is a 'super-host' as she is answering in the quickest manner I every experienced and helping you whereever she can.

We would definitely come back.... when is our next holiday ? :)
