Rajiv and his family were incredible hosts. They gave me great recommendations for local authentic food that was safe for foreigners to eat. They were so responsive and made me feel at home. Truly lovely people. The location is tucked away from the bustling mehrauli streets but only <5 minutes walk away. They are also directly adjacent to qutb minar and its neighbour Mehrauli Archaeological Park, a beautiful historic garden which tourists apparently dont visit. I plan to come back to stay here on my next visit. Mehrauli and Rajiv are not to be missed.

I had a great 2 night stay at Rajiv’s Bed and Breakfast.

I wanted to explore the historical area - Qutub Minar. The proximity of Rajiv’s home is unbeatable.

As a host, Rajiv is both responsive and respectful and made sure I have everything during my stay. As a solo woman traveller all this matters a lot.

His wonderful family were so welcoming and made me feel like home.

Having his dog Oreo was cherry on the cake. Last but not least, the breakfast was scrumptious and made with love.

PS - My heart and stomach was full by the end of it. ❤️🙏

I could not recommend staying with Rajiv more. The whole experience was so incredible. I booked the stay the same day, and rajiv within a couple minutes approved, and gave me in-depth directions on how to arrive. When I arrived they Invited me to their son’s birthday party. I immediately felt like part of the family. That night Rajiv’s brother in law taught me how to play the sitar and we jammed on different hindustani ragas. They literally made me homemade aloo parathas for breakfast and coffee every morning. Rajiv’s sister taught me some hindi as well and she literally felt like my aunt. Everything was incredibly clean - I had my own room and bathroom. The room had a tv with netflix and YouTube. Extremely safe, comfortable and felt like home. Please pleaseeee stay here if you are in delhi - i got soooo much more out of this in comparison to staying at a hotel or hostel. The only downside was that I couldn’t stay longer ;)
