I really wasn’t sure what to expect but it went beyond what I could think. I was privileged enough to have a personal one on one experience. Gede, was not only a cool guy but extremely knowledgeable on coffee and the process.
I got to taste a few different coffees and learn the difference of their taste. The experience is in a traditional Balinese style house and makes really well to be connected with the people.
I also got to roast my own beans and take a small bag of coffee home.
This was really a cool experience and I’m glad I did it. Also the cafe is really cool and the food is superb. I would def say book this class/ tasting. You’ll walk away with some good coffee knowledge.

lovely day tasting a variety of Balinese coffees and learning about Indonesian coffees, the roasting process and Balinese culture. the owner was delightful and the tasting tastes place in his beautiful garden cafe. We even stayed for lunch. It was delicious, fresh and better priced that most of the meals we had in Ubud. Highly recommended for those who know little or a lot about coffee.

Host was very friendly and knowledgeable, so we could ask many questions.
We tried so many different coffee! I recommend not to drink any coffee before this tour and bring water.

What an experience! Our guide Gede was super knowledgeable, but did a great job pacing, so it never felt like information overload. In addition to learning about the coffee process, he also shared interesting facts about the local customs and culture.

We appreciated the variety of destinations and activities at each. We didn’t realize lunch was included at a very scenic spot, which was a lovely surprise!
