This was so lovely. First off, the farm is absolutely gorgeous. The horses, the dogs, the surroundings. I felt so relaxed just being there.

Stephanie is so knowledgeable! We discussed Irish history, language, and of course the knitting in the Aran isles. I had some experience knitting and Stephanie was able to immediately adjust her lesson to my skill level, helping me make something tangible and feel encouraged about my ability to make more in the future. I haven’t knit in years, but talking patterns and samples with Stephanie made me want to pick it up again.

Absolutely recommend for anyone close by. I drove down from Galway and it was worth it. I will cherish this memory from my trip. Thank you!

This was such a unique and genuinely Irish experience. Stephanie has a beautiful home with a great garden and so many cute animals. We could have spent all day there. We learned so much about Aran knitting and the local area, and Stephanie was so patient with us as we worked through our techniques. This was a great memory for us and anyone who does it will enjoy it!

Stephanie is a delightful host and incredibly knowledgeable on the area and obviously knitting. A great teacher, she makes the experience super fun, regardless of prior skill level.

Loved every second of my experience! I planned on getting dropped off by my partner, but Stephanie was easy going and didn’t mind having him stick around. She had a wealth of knowledge, not only in knitting, but also in SO many other creative activities, which was very fun to chat and learn about!

I had very little experience going into this experience, and she was quick to pick up on where I was at and adjust as needed. She also sent me home with hand written patterns and told me to reach out if I ever get stumped.

While teaching me about the Aran knit patterns, she also conversed with us about books, history, and art. She was very warm and easy to hang out; we’re so glad we met her! She also gave us wonderful local recommendations that changed the trajectory of our day. Easily, one of our favorite experiences while in Ireland! Not the mention the food she prepared was out of this world!
