2 napjaThis was quite literally the greatest pesto either of us have ever tasted, in our entire lives.
Luca is incredibly kind, friendly and engaging. We are so grateful he invited us into his home for this amazing cooking class.

1 heteLuca is a very friendly and welcoming host. He has lots of knowledge about food, knows the history of different recipes, the history of all ingredients, knows their differences and explains everything very well. It's interesting listening to him explaining all the background info for making pesto, making it so much more easy to understand why you do what you do and to also increases appreciation for this delicious sauce.
Making the pesto itself is fun too. It's nice doing it in a small group, getting to know other people, chatting, working as two teams, being led through the process step by step and getting such a delicious dish as a result.
Just note that there is no toilet in the apartment where you'll be taking the class so you won't be able to use the restroom.

1 heteWe recently took Luca’s cooking class, and while the cooking instruction itself was truly excellent, the overall experience felt a bit overshadowed by a very strict atmosphere. Luca is definitely knowledgeable, and we learned a lot from the recipes and techniques.
However, from the start, there were a lot of house rules and a strong emphasis on past guest behavior. We were asked not to wear certain jewelry, not to put bags on the sofa, to keep our hair tied back, and we were informed that no bathroom would be available during the three-hour class. While we understand the need for hygiene, it all felt a bit rigid. Adding to that, when we arrived just 10 minutes early, Luca didn’t let us in and seemed irritated, even though he had a strict no-late policy if you were 15 minutes late. It felt like the focus on rules and on the issues he had with previous guests made it harder to relax.
In summary, the cooking part was great and Luca is a pro, but if you prefer a more laid-back and welcom

1 heteI recently took a cooking class with Luca, and I have mixed feelings. On the positive side, the cooking instruction itself was fantastic - Luca is clearly very knowledgeable and the dishes we made turned out great.
However, the overall experience was a bit less comfortable. There were many strict rules that seemed to come from past bad experiences with other guests, and it made the atmosphere feel unwelcoming. For example, we weren’t allowed to use the bathroom during the three-hour class, which was uncomfortable. Also, there was a particular sensitivity about timing: when we arrived just ten minutes early, it seemed to irritate him, even though he also had a strict late policy.
In the end, while I really enjoyed the actual cooking, I wish the overall environment had been more relaxed and accommodating. It felt like we were being treated more like potential rule-breakers than welcomed guests.
