The shop was super cozy with cool details. The tasting experience was amazing, I’ve never tasted chocolate in that way before and the homemade Bon bons especially were so good! Salomé is a fantastic storyteller who creates an amazing atmosphere in the shop. You can tell both her and her husband is truly dedicated to their work. I would definitely recommend you giving this chocolate tasting a try!

I attended Salome's tasting experience on my recent visit to Amsterdam and it was thoroughly entertaining. Aside from the interesting discussion of cocoa bean growth and chocolate production, the chocolate samples with their individual introductions were delicious. It was fun to share Salome's passion for all the different chocolates and, importantly, how she only trades with small independent farmers from around the world to maximize their profits.
Salome and her husband's old store offers a wide variety of distinctive chocolates that I have been nibbling on since my return and regretting that I didn't buy more.

This experience was the 1st thing I did in Amsterdam and I'm so glad I did it! Not only did we eat and learn about some delicious chocolate, but Salomé told some amazing stories about the history of the cacao and spice trade, the area of the shop, and more!
Expect to spend time with an expert, eat some good chocolate, and leave having a better understanding of a whole community.
