Myrtle is a powerful woman with healing abilities that go beyond the wonderful meals she lovingly prepares. She lives to cook and it shows. She shares love,and wisdom and the knowledge and medicines of her elders.
Jason is kind and helpful as well as their son Gabriel. All of the villagers and relatives are welcoming and friendly.
I was blessed to find some healing in Myrtle and J’s place. It’s an experience I will never forget.

Our stay in Gales Point was truly special. The cabin itself was rustic but very clean and comfortable. It gave us exactly what we needed. What made this experience unforgettable, though, was Mrs. Myrtle. Her healing foods, oils, and remedies nourished both body and soul. The love, wisdom, and care she puts into everything radiates through the entire space.

This wasn’t just a stay….it was a connection. Mrs. Myrtle and the community here feel like soul family, and I know this will always be my first stop whenever I return to Belize. If you’re looking for more than just a place to sleep, but a place to feel at home and to heal, this is it.
