Wayne and Chris were wonderful! They take great pride in their home and gave us the full tour of the property. My daughter loved their chickens and dog. Our last night we grilled out and had a campfire under the stars. Wow! Was that ever beautiful! We saw over 100 deer when driving back to their property from town at night. Couldn’t have asked for kinder or more down to earth hosts. In love with all the hard work they put in from the garden to the woods to their chickens.

This place is wonderful! The perfect host, beautiful grounds, so scenic and tranquil. 30 mins from everything- which is perfect if you like to site see. Wayne and Chris hospitality goes unmatched!!

Wayne and Chris have a wonderful ranch in the Forrest near Durango. They personally welcomed us and showed us around how beautiful their property is. We felt very at home and enjoyed our stay. We even extended it because you really can relax surrounded by beautiful nature. Wayne and Chris are super hosts!

This place is a must stay if you’re looking for the perfect getaway to Colorado!!! It’s definitely in the wilderness of the mountains with wild animals from turkeys (which were outside the windows in the morning) to all the mule deer and elk. The ranch is absolutely stunning and Chris will have no problem showing you around the property. The living area is much larger than it appears in the photos and has the bedroom that is separated from the living room. Only issue is there is no kitchen to be able to cook, but Wayne and Chris allowed us to make a camp fire and we had a campfire dinner. The host are amazing and you should definitely consider your stay in the Durango area here!!!!!
