We looked hard for a great wine tasting in Athens. I study wine, and so wanted something unique with a great host to deeply explore Greek wine both in traditional approaches and modern explorations.

This experience delivered! The host, George Spyros, is absolutely fantastic. He knows nearly all the wineries in Greece and seemingly most of the vineyards. His wines are personally selected, and for multiple, he buys out the winery - so you can't get these wines anywhere else.

It was an absolutely wonderful experience and a gorgeous restaurant. The only possible improvement is that George is the restaurant manager, and gets called away often. We would have loved a little more of his time during our tasting.

This was super fun! I loved learning about the different wines that come from all over Greece - definitely something to do if you're a fan of wine!
