I returned to the area with my husband (who had dementia and has since passed away) and our two dogs. We were fortunate enough to have this cottage space to offer and so have taken the opportunity to welcome guests to the village and surrounding area.

I enjoyed my stay in this nice apartment. There were lots of thoughtful touches including the breakfast options. The bed was comfortable with good quality linen and I slept well.

The village and local countryside is very pretty. I came for a cycling trip and the village is an easy ride from Rutland Water. Helen kindly let me store my bike in her garage.

This is a great place to stay and I would happily visit again.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at St James Cottage and wished we had booked it in the first place when we visited Corby. The apartment itself was cozy, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we could possibly need — from extra towels and coffee to little touches like a local guidebook and snacks. The bed was super comfortable, and we slept well! .
