fantastic experience!

Michele is very interesting and knowledgeable about truffles, the truffle market and truffle hunting. It was very interesting watching his dog free range then hone in on the truffles. We found several and then had them with our lunch- which by the way was delicious!

Michele is a wizard in the art and science of fly fishing. He provided waders, boots, rod, reel, line and flies... everything needed. He taught me how to fish with nymphs in a clear, cold mountain stream spilling down from the Alps. I was delighted as I caught several brown trout and one arctic char. Although I didn't speak Italian, he explained everything I needed to know, and patiently guided any of my awkward casting attempts. We discovered, as we talked about other fishing expeditions, that he had apprenticed with the same guide in Ireland that had taken my two sons and me salmon fishing eleven years earlier, on the River Blackwater in Ireland. Crazy coincidence! He's a great guy; really knows and loves fishing; and I'd go again with him in a heartbeat. You shine, Michele! -Geoffrey Piper
