If you want to unwind and immerse yourself in nature, Du's cottage is the perfect place for you! The cottage is open-air style (no windows in the kitchen), with a beautiful outdoor shower. Water is drinkable. The cottage itself is well furnished and clean. Du provides you with a self-serve breakfast of bread, butter, homemade jam and kombucha. There is a gaz stove and pots to cook, an outdoor firepit. Du is a kind and laidback host. The cottage is a good 250m from the road but they kindly helped us with our (big!) suitcases. Like other reviews mentionned, you can hear a nearby karaoke/music pretty much every night, one night it was still on a 1 am... Bring earplugs! Important thing to note, location is pretty far from everything, and Grab don't pickup from the village (even if you walk a bit down), so the local drivers get pricey very fast, even for short distances. I highly recommend having your own scooter if you plan to spend a couple of days here

Je n’ai passé qu’une seule nuit dans l’hébergement de Du, mais j’en garde un excellent souvenir !

L’hébergement est spacieux, décoré avec goût et ouvert pour être au contact de la nature à 360°, de jour comme de nuit. C’est ce qui fait tout son charme, sans pour autant renier sur le confort, ni la propreté.

L’accueil de la part de Du était irréprochable, notamment les attentions dans le réfrigérateur. J’ai eu également l’occasion de goûter au dîner préparé par ses parents : absolument délicieux et généreux !

Enfin, Du a pu me mettre en contact avec des chauffeurs pour deux déplacements : pour me rendre aux rizières de Jatiluwih situées à seulement quelques kilomètres et pour aller à Uluwatu le jour de mon départ.

Je recommande vivement à quiconque de vivre cette expérience ressourçante !

Eine wunderschöne und liebevoll eingerichtete Hütte mitten im Grün der Familienfarm. Absolut zu empfehlen! Die ausgestattete Küche und das Bad mit Außendusche haben fast westlichen Standard und es gibt auch eine gute Auswahl an Spielen, Büchern und Ukulele. Du ist super herzlich und hilfsbereit und die Kommunikation hat jederzeit super funktioniert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.
Morgens erwachen allerdings die Natur und die Nachbarn ab einer gewissen Uhrzeit ins Leben, also nur bedingt für Langschläfer geeignet. Das angebotene Essen mit Dus Familie ist sehr lecker und authentisch, allerdings für 150k pro Person etwas teuer.
