This experience was really fun. The boat basket felt more like a carnaval ride than a boat ride. I thought we were going to go through the river and see the area, but it was just spinning in the basket and pretending to fish. Wasn’t my favorite, would have skipped this if I knew what was involved. The cooking part, on the other hand, was an amazing experience. I loved going to the market and learning all the local fruit and veggies. Our guide was very entertaining and funny. The cooking lesson was really great. I think if you never cook you might have a hard time with it, but you’re partnered up so be with someone that can at least cook an egg. Sitting together and eating all the food we cooked was a great ending. Would recommend doing this if you enjoy learning about cultures through food.

Amazing experience

wonderful experience cooking with Rosa and visiting the local market with her husband beforehand! Beyond learning about some typical Hue dishes, it was really nice to cook with Rosa in her home, such a special location! the food was very good although maybe a bit too much quantity for our taste, but everything was very flavourful!
