We had a lovely time at Governor's Olive Mill. We received a very good description of the historic and modern oil pressing methods and how to choose quality over quantity. The tasting at the end was creative and delicious.
Looks like there are less than 20 people in a tour group as that's all the tasting room accommodates. There is a retail store, but no pressure to purchase. There is a "full tour" option which includes a visit to the olive trees. That seems like overkill to me. I highly recommend this tour!

Cette visite était très intéressante, les explications étaient claires, avec une comparaison entre l'ancienne méthode d'extraction de huile, et la nouvelle, avec des machines italiennes. Les explications sur la variété locale d'olives, la Lianolia, étaient aussi détaillées.
L'accueil est agréable, avec un café grec ou un thé bio.
La dégustation d'huile, seule puis avec les plats typiques de Corfou, était aussi accompagnée d'explications.
Un seul bémol : nous aurions aimé pouvoir acheter des bidons plus gros que 500ml.

Excellent value for the Price. Pleasant hostess with good knowledge of the history and processing of olive oil . You learned what made good olive oil and gave us the directions to the oldest Olive tree in Corfu.
