It was a nice experience. Sonia and Baldo and the entire team of about 7 or 8 people were very hospitable and the class was professionally ran but with a local feel. The whole class involved the community (neighbours/ family) and it felt really nice to be cooking with local Mexicans. The kitchen was very traditional and special. The ingredients were special and the food we ate seemed authentic. I would recommend it to others. There is a lot of Mezcal for those who love drinking.

You’ll learn a lot, cook a lot of great food, and meet interesting people. So much mescal to try.

This is a full day. You get picked up at 10:30 and dropped off at 3:30. Silvia’s/Baldo’s workshop is gorgeous, and about 30 minutes outside of town.

Worth every peso. Everyone in our group had a great time.

I had the best time doing this cooking class and learned a lot - highly highly recommend. We made some simple adjustments to cater for a vegetarian version, so I felt like I could still enjoy the full experience. A lot of laughter, a lot of truly delicious food, and a lot of mezcal - perfect combination.
