I just had a great trip with Komang to Mount Batur sunrise (Jeep trip). Komang was an excellent driver/guide and I would recommend to anyone being picked up and going to the Mount Batur trip. The Jeep portion is a local guide, and the girl goes maybe 1/3-1/2 up the volcano as that’s how far those can go. You are not going to the top (that’s only if you hike).
Be ready to be picked up early as sun rises around 615 or so but you need to be up there by like 5am to get the full experience. We had a beautiful sunrise with part of the sky having clouds but that is actually much nicer then no clouds or just blue sky. Would recommend the experience to anyone that is willing to get up early and is interested in nature. Experience includes trip to Lava fields from older eruptions and a stop at a coffee local plantation which was nice too. Fully recommend it.

Definitely make sure to visit the coffee plantation on the way back too it was a good experience.

Wir hatten unsere Tour heute morgen und fanden es richtig schön! Mit Siung wurde uns ein Guide gestellt, der uns jeden Wunsch erfüllt hat. Wenn er gemerkt hat, dass wir uns für einen Ort interessierten, dann hat er direkt angehalten und so viel Zeit dort mit uns verbracht, wie wir wollten. Er hat auch gerne was zu seiner Kultur und den einzelnen Sehenswürdigkeiten erzählt. Meiner Freundin hat er am Tukad Cepung Wasserfall sogar seine Flip-Flops gegeben, da es dort sehr steinig war im Wasser.
Er hat auch immer gerne Fotos von uns gemacht.
Wir hatten einen tollen Tag und können die Tour absolut weiterempfehlen!
