100/10 would absolutely recommend. One of the very best historical walking tours I have ever joined!

This tour was tremendous. Incredibly informative. Our guide was enthusiastic about the subject matter and put everything into context — dates, number of people, percentages, land size. Slavery in the United States was different than in other cultures and happened not that long ago in our history. Our guide was knowledgeable about dates, places and facts, and he shared all in a conversational and engaging way. Black history in Philadelphia is rich, and I certainly came away enlightened and grateful for this tour. Book the tour if you’re interested in the topics. You’ll be happy you did.

This tour was excellent, the guide was friendly, fun and knowledgeable about the city. This is family friendly and just the right amount of walking. You could see his passion for the city and the subject matter. He stopped along the way to allow us to grab a drink or snack. This is worth it hands down and gives you a new experience other than just eating a cheesesteak :)
