It was lovely doing this experience with Andrei, we had a great time and enjoyed the amazing views this road has to offer.

We were heading to Sibiu that same day and he was very accommodating and dropped us off there instead of taking us back to Brasov for a small fee only. He made us feel safe, he had all the gear (even gloves which were a life saver while riding) and the car journey was comfortable. He was also very quick to reply to all of my messages prior to the experience. The only thing I'd suggest is maybe having a bike seat cover with a bit more cushioning to make it more comfortable.

Would recommend doing an experience with Andrei to explore the area!

This is a unique way to see the stunning scenery on the Transfăgărășan! Andrei knows the mountains well, gave good recommendations for Romania, and his bikes are high quality

When we stopped for a photo, I didn't dismount my bike well and fell. Andrei immediately checked on my bike and told me off, reacting with frustration rather than concern. I explained that I don't bike regularly and it was an accident. When we reached Bâlea Lake, my legs were bleeding from the fall, but Andrei never asked if I was ok. The incident and Andrei's reaction made me very anxious for the more technical descent. Although he emphasised safety, did a great job at explaining how to descend, and always rode protectively behind me, I found it difficult to relax and enjoy the views as I didn't feel well supported after the incident

I recommend this tour for ppl who ride pretty regularly. You must be comfortable on a bike as there's no bike lane and you do many tight turns next to speeding cars and motorcycles
