Fantastic experience. Extremely friendly and caring hosts and a very informative calligraphy and tea lesson. I’d recommend this to anyone traveling to Nagoya.

This is a wonderful experience - very unique and special! Yuzo and Kumiko were very sweet and it was really nice to see their lovely traditional home. We were able to really experience the traditional japanese customs. This is s definitely a one of a kind experience!

Nous avons eu la chance de participer à une cérémonie du thé suivie d'une initiation à la calligraphie, et ce fut une expérience absolument inoubliable. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été chaleureusement accueillis par des hôtes d'une grande gentillesse et d'une extrême bienveillance. Leur attention aux détails et leur passion pour ces traditions étaient palpables. La maison, magnifique et authentique, nous a plongés dans une atmosphère sereine et propice à la découverte. La cérémonie du thé, tout simplement parfaite, nous a permis de vivre un véritable moment de paix et de raffinement. Un grand merci pour cette expérience unique que nous recommandons vivement !

Beyond incredible, from the moment you enter Chinoya it's as though you're transported to another world and time. Yuzo and Kumi are fabulous hosts, who are knowledgeable, friendly, and caring. Would definitely do this again, and feel so lucky to have been welcomed into their place and be able to go around.
