Nariko has a teaching background and it shows! She explains everything in succinct detail; we were never confused about what to do and she is such a patient guide! The homey atmosphere made it feel like having a meal with friends; we enjoyed chatting with Nariko and the other guests so much. Really it’s such a useful class, especially for a Westerner, because all of the ingredients can be easily found in most cities unlike a sushi class where you may be more limited based on where you live. Such a treat to make a full Japanese meal from start to finish. I will most definitely be showing off my new-found ramen and gyoza skills to friends back home!
