This was actually my second time doing this raku experience. Totally recommend it to anyone!

Lewis is very knowledgeable and kind. He explained the raku history and process in detail. Decorating the pottery was so much fun. It's a unique experience everyone should try.

This is a must do activity when visiting Joshua Tree NP and Palm Springs !
This was our second time enjoying the experience from Lewis, and will continue to book on future trips to the area. Lewis is a subject matter expert on Raku and creates a wonderful experience. He is quite a character and makes everything fun and stress free. You go home with a hand spun pottery piece that you actually have used the techniques he teaches you.

Fantastic experience. Lewis was a great host with a wealth of information to share. He takes times to relate the information he is presenting to something you know are work with. As we were the only two that day we got to see Lewis work on some of the pieces he was taking to a local show that weekend. Best advice that was given by Lewis about creating your art and being happy with it at the end was have fun because that is what you are there for. Overall a great way to make some art, learn a little art history, and have fun making something with your hands.
