I had the opportunity to visit this heaven, nested deep in the wilderness yet quite accessible from both Pune & Mumbai. Sapna is a great host and me feel at home the moment I arrived. I was fortunate enough for Sapna to upgrade my room.

The room itself is worth talking about. It had glass walls to enjoy the mountain view but was still had a privacy feeling. The roof of the room had been built into a platform and had panoramic views that could be enjoyed all day long. Sapna ensured thet there was no disturbance while I was in the room. The decor of the room was pleasing and the attached toilet was a blessing. The room, bed, linens etc were all clean. I am looking forward to visit this paradise again.

I also liked the idea of all open dining room along with the kitchen and connecting with the host and other guests while having your food.

Advice: Try the trek to the caves in the mountain.

Sapna's Porrom is nested in nature, peaceful and tranquil. It is more suitable for those seeking inner peace and want to connect with nature. Food is also simple with local homely flavours and homely taste.

What stood out for me was that host and caretakers were proactive, responsive and the view of valley and sound of nature was fabulous.

What could have been better is that room could be made more clutter free for movement. Vegetation and plantation need trimming to have better views ( maybe extended monsoon had delayed it ). Also cats seem disturbing as they try to force into your room and ask you feed them.

Overall, it is a peaceful and no frills place, but for me; costing seemed high for the stay considering the simplicity of amenities and food.

We had a wonderful stay, and Sapna was very helpful and accommodating! The food was also delicious and the pets all around were so friendly. Definitely planning to visit again!
