Our time with Diogo, Rita, and family was truly magical. From the transport to the location to the FOOD (and wine!), we had an amazing time. Rita's mom (the incredible chef) let our 5 year old into the kitchen to see some of the food cooking and he enjoyed everything he tried. I wouldn't hesitate to include your kid in this experience.
While a lot of the small, incredibly welcoming Portuguese spots feel like you're dining in someone's home, this experience went well beyond that. Getting to sit and chat with not only Diogo and family but also the other guests that signed up was such a connective experience, one that I think we don't often get when traveling to a country outside of our own. I love what they've created and hope it can carry on for a long time!

Diogo and Rita were amazing. They and the rest of their family were so warm and welcoming. They made us feel apart of their family. I like that there was a couple there as well to talk to throughout the dinner. Great family feel. Very unique having a family literally pick you up, come for you and make you apart of their family. Highly recommend it.

An amazing day exploring a different side of Portugal! Diogo was great at adapting the tour for our 4 year old and 1 year old, with little surprises along the way. The meeting point is an easy train ride from Lisbon, making this experience a great way to explore the countryside without having to rent a car. Highly recommend!
