A few years ago we did a fly fishing lesson with Carolyn and couldn’t stop talking about it!

We finally got a chance to book this fishing tour with her and couldn’t have asked for more. She guided us to beautiful spots and with her expertise, we collectively caught 5 fish! To top it off, she brought birthday treats for my wife. So thoughtful!!

At the end of the trip, there was a road block on the hwy so Carolyn safely guided us back to our car, then she confidently took us on the back road around the traffic. We were very thankful she was there to lead the way.

Overall, we’d highly recommend booking a trip with Carolyn. She’s very knowledgeable, personable, and super funny!

Carolyn was absolutely amazing. I have long since wanted to learn a little about fly fishing but have been too intimidated to take the leap and learn. She met me where I was at with no judgment. She was patient and had a myriad of ways to explain the same concept so we could find one that made sense for me.

I learned more in two hours with her than I ever could with how-to videos. From vocabulary to techniques to practical applications.

As a teacher myself, I would say she missed an opportunity to be a teacher in schools cause she'd be fantastic. But, come to think of it, she still found her way, sharing her passion in such an approachable way.

If you've ever been even slightly interested in fly fishing but it feels like it's too big a leap from what you know, I HIGHLY recommend you book time with Carolyn.

Carolyn is truly amazing! If you have never touched a fly rod she is the best person to learn from! I’ve practiced a bit in the past so she was able to help me learn a cast I’ve been struggling with. She sets you up with a great foundation of knowledge to take home and practice. So happy I did this experience!

It was very informative and the demonstrations were easy to do. Carolyn is a pleasure to learn from.
